It is with a heavy heart that the Sercan Family announces the passing of their beloved Husband, Father & Grandfather, Mardiros (George) Sercan. He passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday July 8th, 2023 at the age of 100. He is survived by his loving wife Despina of 60 years, his sons and daughter in laws Suren (Maria), Apkar (Chantale), Arthur (Jenny) and to his loved grandchildren George, Christian, Madison, Andrew and Great Grandchildren Noah & Lilah which he adored and was extremely proud of.
Mardiros (George) was born in Turkey on April 14, 1923 to Apkar and Sophia and was a loving brother to Yeran & Louisa. He moved to Canada where he married his wife and started his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness & the great love he had for his family and friends. He enjoyed his daily visits to Fairview Mall to have coffee with his friends and playing his lottery scratch tickets.
Mardiros (George) will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
