Marcelina Capucao “Lola Saling”, age 91, passed away with family by her side on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, Ontario. She was born in Tarlac, Philippines to Hilario Madayag and Apolonia Gaboni, and is the second eldest of 6 children.

She was known as a hard working woman and strong leader to her family and friends both in her village Santa Maria, San Manuel in Tarlac and here in Toronto, Canada. She is a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to her 3 children, 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was admired, respected and loved dearly by all who knew her and will be greatly missed and cherished.
