In memory of

Marcel Trudel

May 29, 1950 -  June 15, 2022

Marcel Trudel passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on June 15, 2022 at St Andrews Terrace in Cambridge, ON.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Corinne (nee Francetich). He is survived by his loving children Julie (Taylor), Mark (Jenny) and Jordan along with his mother Susan DiDiadato. His grandchildren Brittany (Iain), Mitchel, Rylea, Jocelyn and Owen as well as his great-grandchildren Taylor Rose (in heaven) and Bentley along with countless family members and friends who he was honored to have in his life.
Marcel always approached life with a carefree, fun, and loving attitude. He was well known to be a prankster and was the first to make a joke…wherever he went, laughter followed. His love of life and booming laugh was contagious and inspired joy in others.
Marcel had a soft and serious side to him as well. He was generous and caring. He was the first to offer help to those who needed it and it would be done quietly and without ceremony. He was a devoted father, brother, husband and friend who made sure that if he could help someone, that help was given freely and with love.
Marcel lived an active lifestyle. He played and walked 18 holes on the golf course every day that it was possible and did so as member of Trafalgar Golf and Country Club with dear friends for over thirty years.
He spent his years both playing and coaching hockey and loved to see children enjoying themselves on the ice. He volunteered time with the high school football team and always wanted to make sure every child had the opportunity to participate, even if that meant the money came from his own pocket.
In lieu of flowers, Marcel and his family would appreciate if you honored his memory by supporting Kidsports Canada, an organization that allows for every child to play the game, regardless of their social or economic status. The family feels strongly that this would honor his memory above all else.
The family would like to thank the staff at St Andrews Terrace for the wonderful care they provided to Marcel. The took him in as family and treated him like their own. We are forever grateful.

Love you, uncle Marcel. We shared many cherished times, and many more will be shared when we meet where there is no pain, nor sorrow, nor sighing. Memory eternal.

My Deepest Condolences to Marcel's Family ...We had many great years of Friendship... Through the years life moved us to different locations, but the memories were always there. Marcel got me started coaching hockey as his assistant coach for several years, which lead to head coaching my own teams based mostly on what I had learned through him. I golfed, played hockey, just hung out as Friends, and a memorable trip to Florida with Him, Corrine, Mark and Julie...He left a lasting impression on my life and will be missed..

Marcel took me in as one of his own and was
Not only a role model for me but an amazing father figure. He taught me to respect life and enjoy it. I will miss the fun of laughter and jokes between us. I’m sorry to see you go but happy you can be with “Mum” again. Until we meet again. Love you (Dad.)

Michael.
