Passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded in his last days by his family. Marcel lost his courageous battle with Cancer on January 28, 2017, at Lakeridge Health Hospital Oshawa. Husband of Jocelyne, father to Eric (Dena), brother of Monique (deceased) and Rosanne, Grandfather to Noah, Luke and Leigha and cherished friend to many. Memorial Visitation will be held at Thornton Cemetery and Funeral Centre (1200 Thornton Rd, Oshawa, entrance off Dryden, 905-579-6787) on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 12-1:45 p.m., Memorial Service and Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cancer Research Canada(www.crs-src.ca) in accordance with his wishes.
