I can’t believe you’re gone, Opa. It feels like just yesterday we received the diagnosis. Things happened fast, but we find peace in knowing he is no longer in pain. He went peacefully surrounded by family.
I’ve been reminiscing in the memories we have together. As I flipped through the photos from each year, there you were, smiling. You were always smiling. Always happy. This is how I will remember you. Now the world seems a little less bright without you.
Thank you for everything. Thank you for showing my dad and uncle everything you know. Thank you for showing us all how to enjoy even the most simple things in life, like a good meal! Thank you for all your big hugs that made all my problems slip away. Thank you for all the laughs and smiles.
This isn’t goodbye, this is see you later. Rest in eternal peace. I love you. I miss you already. Until we meet again. ❤️
“Everything I do in my life I do to make my mum and dad proud. I want to carry on in my dad’s footsteps and make sure that his legacy lives on forever.”
“I love you dad, forever and always!”
Our deepest sympathies on your loss. May the wonderful memories of the time spent with him provide consolation and some measure of joy for having had him in your life. May he rest in peace.
Galler family I am so sorry for the loss of your dad and granddad.
Manfred was clearly a deeply loved man.
I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find peace and comfort at this time. Sending love and hugs, Lindsey Holland
