To Selina, our dear friend and sister in Christ,

Beatrice and I are shocked to receive the news that you have left us suddenly.

We will never forget your smile and cheerfulness, especially your sweet voice, in particular, from your singing.

I remember you helped serving at the weekly Seekers Service on Sundays at RHCBC as a singer. And one song that you sang beautifully still echoes vividly in my ears is "終生美麗" by 鄭秀文 https://youtu.be/7MCH_LvlXTs

Selina, no more suffering and no more tears. I trust that you are in a better place right now with our Good Lord.

You are dearly missed by us.

With a heavy heart,
William Lo

Dear Simon, Mr. Chan, Anita and Wing,

My deepest and most sincere condolences to you and your family.

I am deeply and truly sorry… Selina is with the Lord now. We are all with you during this difficult time in prayers and in thoughts. We are all praying for you. May you find comfort and peace from the Lord, Jesus Christ. May the Lord send angels around you to journey with you through this time of grief and sorrow.

May we all remain steadfast and hopeful in Christ Jesus. We are looking forward to the day to be reunited with Selina again. We have the assurance that our beloved Selina is in a much better place. She is with our Heavenly Father without any pain and suffering. May we all hold on to our ‘Faith’ and ‘Hope’. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” (Revelation 21:4-5).

Selina has been a truly amazing Tyndale comrade over the past few years. There were only a handful of us who were originally from Hong Kong. We bonded right away. I have been blessed by her kind, caring, encouraging, and persevering characters during our times together through the counselling program. I remember how Selina packed her own lunch and worked through lunch during numerous 11am to 2pm classes. I remember how we prayed for each other during breaks, how we celebrated together after finishing papers, exams, and case studies. I remember Selina loved you all very much. Although the demands of the studies took up a lot of her time, but her heart was with her family. She loved you all very much. Simon, I remember how Selina shared her recipes and tips of making a more efficient dinner… and how you two supported each other… All great memories… I remember fondly her ‘Vita Lemon Tea’ pencil case and her ‘My Neighbor Totoro’ sweater. Truly, I have been blessed to get to know Selina over the past few years. I feel tremendous sadness and grief to lose a great friend and comrade.

We are all with you in prayers, Simon, Mr. Chan, Anita and Wing.
May we all find comfort in Christ Jesus, and hold on to the promise that we will all be reunited one day. As we are weeping, the Lord is weeping with us.

Humbly in Him,
Angela

Salina, in my mind, you’re always that cheerful girl in school uniform laughing hard with our friends in class. I will miss you!
