Man Lai “Mary” Kan passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 18, 2023, just three days shy of her 94th birthday. Predeceased by her siblings Man Tak “Kenneth” and Man Wai “Katie”, she will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her surviving siblings – Man Ying “Ruth” and Man Keung “Kelvin” (and Shirley); as well as her many relatives and friends.

A special thank you to the staff at Mon Sheong Private Care; as well as her sitters (Diana, Sandy, Linda) for their loving support in her final days. Your remarkable compassion was deeply appreciated.

Friends and relatives will be received at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Rd.) on Friday October 27, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service will start at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow. Lunch will be hosted afterwards at Legend Chinese Restaurant (5 Glen Cameron Rd.)

Family and friends are welcome to send flowers, or in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Mon Sheong Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Toronto or St. John’s Anglican Church.
