Malcolm Long

May 1, 1937 -  September 26, 2024

Malcolm Long, 87, of Thornhill, ON, passed away on September 26, 2024. Malcolm, son of Kwea Long and Wendy Wong, succumbed to complications after an extended battle with cancer. He is survived by his sisters, Jean and Jill, his brother Numaan, his beloved wife, Esther (Kwai Yin) and two daughters, Yvonne and Denise, son-in-law Juergen and his only granddaughter, Mieke. Malcolm worked as a high school teacher, became a principal and eventually ended his career as an administrator in Shung Tak Catholic English College in Hong Kong, a total span of 34 years at STCEC till his retirement. He was loved by many of his students over the 3 decades. He enjoyed reading his books, listening to his Oscar Peterson, interacting with his alumni and doting on his granddaughter. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
