Maja Ljuboje

September 10, 1980 - August 5, 2019

The family of Maja Ljuboje (Vasiljevic) is deeply saddened to announce her passing on August 5, 2019 at Kensington Hospice. Maja was the beloved wife to Vanja and mother to Katarina and Sofia. She will also be lovingly remembered by her parents - Ognjen Vasiljevic and Tilda Konforte-Vasiljevic; brother - Dragan Vasiljevic, his wife Jelena and their children Blanka and Vuk; cousin - Danijela Konforte, her husband Mark Siboni and their children Noah and Hannah; cousin - Lea Konforte; and members of the Konforte, Ljuboje, Vasiljevic, Finci, Jamakosmanovic, Markovic, Radovanovic, Siboni and Kundacina families.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Centre on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6 - 9 pm. Service will be held Friday, August 9 at 10 am with interment and reception to follow. Please see details in website.

I be so blessed to meet Maja, Tilda & all of you, such a lovely, caring family. I’ll never forget when I first met Maja, out in the garden. I immediately saw in her eyes a Wise Soul & a pure Loving Heart . Her peaceful kind presence was always felt in the Hospice. We loved her. You’ve raised 2 lovely, well brought-up daughters, Katarina & Sofia . Maja is at peace now, in Heaven. I will pray to her to help all of you now, in your time of great loss, & now on your healing journey. May you be comforted in your memories of Maja.
