Dearest Lynne:
I have no words to express how shattered I was when Mary phoned to tell me you had left us. You have always been the picture of health, and this is a total surprise.
Your superb organizational skills and enthusiasm for keeping us in touch will be sorely missed by The Golden Girls of Major Ballachey and Pauline Johnson schools.
Mark and his family will surely miss your care and devotion.
Darling girl, the world is a lesser place without you. I wish you peace and the joy of reuniting with your mom and dad and beloved Joe.
XOXO
Marg
Hi Mark and Janet:
Lynne's passing is a tremendous loss to all of us. We are grieving alongside you and your family. R.I.P. Lynne. Thank you for being our friend!
Judy and I met Lynn in 1968 at the London YMCA and rented our first apartment together. We had so many laughs in that one bedroom bunk bed unit. This was a friendship that has lasted for many years. We never lost touch and loved our bi weekly three way calls. We shared life stories, family ups and downs and just were there for each other. Lynn was our rock. She oranized these calls being a good Bell girl. Her passing is so sudden and so unexpected. We do not think there are words to express how sad Lynn's passing makes us feel. RIP Lynn. You will not be forgotten. Judy/Len and Jan/Herb
Lynne and I met at Beach United Church and bonded over our name and of course the same spelling of it. Lynne was an active volunteer at the church up until the past year when she found her energy levels lowering.
She enjoyed gardening both at home and at the church and was always on hand to make coffee on Sunday mornings. She organized lunch get togethers after church as well. I will miss our weekly catch up calls and her wonderful sense of humour.
Lynne was one of the nicest people that I knew. She arranged many Bell get together luncheons so that we stayed in touch with old friends. Lynne was always helping someone, driving people places & helping at the church. She will be missed by many.
