Lynn Johnston (nee White)
September 16, 1946 - April 5, 2024
Peacefully passed away in her family home surrounded by her daughter, Tracy Manning (nee Johnston) and cherished memories. Lynn’s roots ran deep in her childhood home, which have provided comfort and residence to five generations of her family.
She was the beloved wife of Brian Johnston. Loving mother to Tracy Manning, stepmother of Shaun Johnston and Colleen Hale (nee Johnston) and grandmother of Derrick, Cassidy and Chad. Lynn was also a step-grandmother of Charlotte, Brendan, Lucas and Emma. Step-Great Grandmother of Michael and Christopher. Lynn predeceased by her cherished parents Carl and Norma White and sister Carol Billinger. Mourned by her brother Paul White, his wife Chris, nephew Todd Billinger, Robert White, niece Melanie White and a host of extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a warm Thank You to the South East Toronto Family Health Team, especially Dr. Corey Bricks, Dr. Neha Kanga and physician assistant Jean Guo. The family will remember their exceptional care, compassion and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynn’s memory can be made to the local Humane Society. Private Family Services has occurred.
