Lynette "Lyn" Hormozian

February 6, 1944 -  September 16, 2022

Lynette Shah Hormozian passed away peacefully in her sleep, at four twenty-five Friday morning.

"Lyn", as she was affectionately known, was born in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago on February 6, 1944 to Nora Roshanarra (Rahaman) and Hedite "Lio" Shah. Lyn attended Naparima Girls High School, trained and later conducted her residency at San Fernando General Hospital as a registered nurse. Lyn worked at Princess Margaret Hospital for many years, specializing in the Blood Cell Separator unit. She later became a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and established her own practice, Natural Wonder.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Ali Hormozian; son Kurosh and his wife Donna-Marie; daughter Tahmineh and her husband Matthew; grandchildren Ava and Alexander; brother Ralph and his wife Lazena "Liz"; brother Kelvin and his late wife Joycelyn "Chung"; and sister Eve and her partner Dwayne.

Lyn has been a true inspiration to me. Her strength, courage and determination were all contributory to the indelible mark she has left on my heart. I will always remember her warm and welcoming spirit and the love she shared each time we spoke.
