On February 5, 2019 Margarita Lycouras passed away peacefully close to her loved ones at the age of 92 (born October 26, 1926).
She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her beloved husband Theodose, her children Barbara Lycouras, George (Sue) Lycouras, and Mary (Gus) Platis, as well as her grandchildren Christina, Maggie, Elena, Dora, Christos, and Theo and great-grandchild Adriana. Family and friends will be received at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church, 11359 Warden Ave, Markham on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 from 5:30 pm – 9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, February 11th at 10 am. Following the burial, the family has invited all family and friends to attend a reception at Astoria Restaurant, 1620 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, L4S 0B2.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. If you wish to send flowers, please arrange delivery to Elgin Mills Cemetery, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, on Sunday, February 10th between 11 am & 2pm as Elgin Mills funeral staff will arrange to have the flowers set up at the church.
