Luz S. Castillo passed away peacefully in the early morning on April 26, 2022 in Toronto where she had lived for the last 42 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Ignacio Castillo and survived by her children, grandchildren, a great grandson and many friends.

She will be especially remembered for her gentleness and forbearing character that served to strengthen her family. She lived life through simple pleasures spending her time being the best wife, mother and grandmother.

If we could only hear her voice, she would say:

"Grieve not for me,
Remember the best times,
the good life I lived while I was strong.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest
Remembering all and how truly I was blessed!"
