Lutgarda Lampa, 72, of Ajax, Ontario, passed away on October 18, 2023 after a year and a half long battle with ovarian cancer.

Lutgarda, who was known as “Ruth” by loved ones, was born on March 26, 1951 in Paniqui, Tarlac Philippines and moved to Edmonton, Alberta Canada in 1974 with her husband, the late Artemio Lampa.

She had many professions, among them being the president of the official Nicole Lampa Fan Club. Her proudest role, however, was as a mother, particularly when she moved to Toronto where she shined as a grandmother.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Artemio Lampa, mother, Petra Acorda, and brother and sister, Arturo Acorda and Marilyn Cajolo respectively. She is survived by her children Art and Luthie Lampa, her grandchildren, Joshua Dwyer and Joaquin Caluya, son-in-law Ben Caluya, sister Estrella Pulido, brother-in-laws Val and Pablo Lampa, sister-in-law Rose Lampa and many nieces and nephews.
