It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luisito “Chito” Filardo, who passed away peacefully at the age of 90 with his family by his side on November 12, 2024. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Chito’s legacy will continue to live on in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Luisito was born on January 21st, 1934, and throughout his life, he was known for his boundless warmth, generosity, and kindness. His infectious smile and easygoing nature touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. A dedicated family man, Luisito cherished his role as a loving husband to Reynosa, his wife of 48 years, and as a proud father to his children, Jeff and Meryl. He was a constant source of love, wisdom, and support for his family, and his presence will be deeply missed by them all.

Throughout his life, Luisito worked hard and was dedicated to providing for his family. In his later years, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—spending time with his loved ones and enjoying the peace that comes with a life well lived. His family and his home were his greatest joy, and he found happiness in seeing his children grow and thrive.

Luisito leaves behind his beloved wife Reynosa, his son Jeff, his daughter Meryl and her husband Dale, his grandson Lucas.

Rest in peace, Luisito. You will forever be loved and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
