In memory of

Luis De Sousa Machado

September 23, 1945 -  October 7, 2020

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father grandfather/great grandfather on Wednesday October 7, 2020. He was surrounded by his adoring wife Natividade and daughters Fatima, Susy and Debby at the time of his peaceful passing and was lovingly held until his very last moments. We as a family would also like to extend our thanks to the palliative care team at Trillium Hospital (Mississauga) who took such kind care of him in his last weeks.

Left to grieve are his beloved wife of 50 years Natividade (De Sousa) and his adored daughters, Fatima Soeiro, Susy Stutt and Debby Ferreira (Richard). As well, he leaves 6 loved grandchildren Noel Da Costa (Stephen) and Sebastian, Vanessa and Andreas, Sophia and Jack, along with two cherished great grand-daughters Penelope Seraphina and Violet Belle.

Due to COVID restrictions in place the Mass and burial will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to A Living Tribute (Plant a tree in Ontario) through the Simple Alternative website (link attached below) You can also access this link through the donations page located at the top right corner.

My sincere condolences to the Machado Family for the loss of their beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. I have great memories of everytime we were together at family events. Whenever I look at my backyard and see the Shed he made along with my late husband it will bring a smile to my face. He was a good man who would help someone out no questions asked. Rest in Peace Senor Luis.
Gone but never Forgotten.

My family is thinking of you all at this time.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. I hope you’re able to find peace through the good memories you had with your father. I know I am far but if there is anything I can do please let me know. God bless you all.

With Love
