It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucjan "Leszek" Kulik at the age of 84. Born in Poland, Lucjan spent his early years pursuing his love of music. He studied to become a music teacher, a path that led him to share his passion with many students over the years.

After moving to Canada, Lucjan continued to inspire others through his work as a music teacher, both in schools and as a church choir director. His love for music was a gift he generously shared with his community, enriching the lives of those around him.

In the later years of his life, Lucjan explored new ventures by opening and managing several small businesses, including delicatessens and a pizza parlor, demonstrating his adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit.

Lucjan's heart was always close to nature. He found solace in the Kaszuby region of eastern Ontario, where the pine-scented air and the cultural connection to Poland offered him a peaceful retreat.

Lucjan was predeceased by his wife, Janina, who passed away in 2013. He is survived by his son, Robert, his daughter-in-law, Amy, and his grandsons, Andrew and Matthew. He also leaves behind his devoted long-term companion, Romana. Lucjan will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.
