September 1, 1954 - September 21, 2020

Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the age of 66. Much loved son of the late Helena and Stanislaw. Beloved husband of Alina. Loving father of Sylvia and Isabelle (Johnny). Cherished grandfather of Ethan, Annabelle, Aurora and Evangeline. Dear brother of Waldemar (Sabina) and brother–in–law of Barbara Kaczmarek. Uncle of Adrian, Sebastian, Greg and Thomas. Lucjan will be missed by the many friends he made during his life and fondly remembered for his love of music. He was an avid accordion player and enjoyed a long and rewarding career teaching music to his students with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. In memory of Lucjan, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Lucjan and I were the music teachers at Our Lady of Grace for many years. He was the instrumental music teacher and I the vocal music teacher. I have fond memories of our many discussions about music over the years. I had the pleasure of sharing the stage many times at the school and festivals. He, with his bands and me with my choirs. I also had the pleasure of recording him playing some accordion works at my studio in Pickering.
I’m saddened by his passing and will treasure the memories of the time we spent together.
My heart goes out to his wife, Malina Alina and his daughters and their families.
