In memory of

Lucile Marie Brown

April 23, 1930 -  March 25, 2022

Lucile Marie Brown
April 23, 1930 - March 25, 2022

Lucile passed peacefully after a short stay in hospital. A wonderful person and wife of Robert for 69 years. Mother of Keith (Catherine) and Warren (deceased) and Grandmother of Scott, Derek, and Heather. Good friend to many Curlers, Cottagers, and "Luncheon Girls". Heaven will be a little livelier now that Lucile is there! Lucile's dog Carly misses her and as an avid dog lover any remembrances can be made to the Durham Humane Society in Lucile's name. Cremation has taken place with a Celebration/Memorial planned for April 23, 2022 at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre from 1pm -3 pm.
A few tears yes, but Lucile is in a better place now.
Thanks to all. Bye Lucile. Condolences can be made at www.etouch.ca

Please note : Due to the age of Robert and some immunocompromised friends we request that masks be worn while inside the reception area

Lucile and I meet over 10 years ago where she was a volunteer and shortly after we were next door neighbours. She always had a good laugh or story to tell, and always smiling. I will miss her friendship. My condolences to her husband and family. She will be missed.

I joined curling and Lucile was on my very first team. So many memories, curling, the entertainment ladies, to weekends away at
Bob-a-Lu, what an amazing woman. RIP my friend.

My fondest memories are of visits to Bob-a-Lu cottage on Gull Lake and our wonderful trip to Hawaii in 1980. Lucile came to my wedding in 1990 and corresponded for 30 years afterwards. I will miss her contagious laugh and her voice; she sounded like Lucile Ball and her best friend was Ethel.
