In memory of

Loula Koutlemanis

August 3, 1935 -  April 22, 2020

With a heavy heart and with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Loula Paraskevi Koutlemanis. Loula passed away at the age of 84 peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on April 22nd, 2020 at 9:55 pm, after succumbing to covid-19.

Loula Koutlemanis was the loving wife to Anastasios, mother to daughter Tammy (Kosta), and son’s Nick (Margaret) and Mike (Antonella). She was a grandmother to 7 Anni (Brent), Patricia (Alex), Tom, Eva (Tyler), Jordan, Alexia and Matthew, a great grandmother to Rafi and Niko.

Loula immigrated from Kastoria, Greece with her family to Toronto, Ontario in 1964 for a chance at a better life. Loula found happiness through her children’s success and the raising of her grandchildren. She was very much involved in his community church activities and has given her time and patience to anyone who asks.

A special thank you to the people at Markham Stouville Hospital for their loving care and support during her final days. At this time, a burial will take place for Loula with her children at Elgin Mills Cemetery Richmond Hill, Ontario on where she will be laid to rest, on Monday, April 27 at 10:00 am.

To allow for the pandemic and this unusual time to pass, a Remembrance and Celebration of Life Service will be held on the anniversary of her passing with venue determined at a later time and date. For those wishing, donations can be pledged to MARKHAM STOUFFVILLE HOSPITAL FOUNDATION: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/markham-stouffville-hospital-foundation/campaign/help-msh-combat-covid-19/
