In memory of

Lorraine Teasdale

September 2, 1945 -  January 8, 2019

Lorraine (Elizabeth) Teasdale passed peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 8 at Michael Garron Hospital (formerly Toronto East Gen.) after a battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born in Toronto Sept. 2, 1945 and was predeceased by her mother and stepfather Thelma and Wallace Teasdale, as well as her father James Ogilvy Robertson. She is survived by Vincent McLaughlin, her devoted husband of over 20 years. She will be missed by her aunt Bess, cousins Bill, Janice, Jim, David and Cathy, and many friends.
Lorraine had a passion for travel, collecting blue and white ceramic pottery, and gardening. She was very generous, was known for her quick wit, and her memory will live on in our hearts.

Visitation will be on Tues. Jan 15 from 10–11am at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough. Funeral service immediately after from 11–12:30pm, followed by a luncheon reception for friends and family from 12:30–2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated.

Peace my lovely; and thank you for the hilarious times and many fun adventures we shared. Every outing was a story. Your many kindnesses, great advice and massive generosity of close to forty years will never be forgotten. I am honoured to have called you friend.

To Vince and her family, I had the pleaseure of knowing Lorraine through the friendship of her good friends Diane and Agnes. Lorraine was a very kind and generous person who loved to entertain in her backyard! Every August she would have about 8 to 10 of us over for a fantastic BBQ! They were always so much fun and we enjoyed her hospitality! It was very hard to take when we learned of her illness and to go through her struggle with it. She is at peace and is our special angel in heaven! May you and all of us treasure the lovely memories of this dear friend. Take care & Hugs!
