In memory of

Lori Lou Carton

Lori Lou Carton passed away in her 61st year at 5:40am on July 27th, 2022 at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, ON.

Lori was born on November 11th, 1961 in Richmond Hill to Mother Merle May Carton (née MaGee) and Father Robert Elmer Carton. She is survived by siblings Bob Carton, Arbor Eickmann, and Richard Carton and was a loving mother to Dean and Kelly Kindness.

Prior to raising children, Lori worked as an X-Ray Technologist at York Central Hospital (now Mackenzie Health) in Richmond Hill. After Dean and Kelly were born, she took on the role of stay-at-home Mom and assisted her partner Dave with the day-to-day tasks of owning and operating a residential paving business.

Lori had a deep love for animals, enjoyed watching Steven Colbert, playing Scrabble with her dear friend Maya, and later in life, completing crossword puzzles. She took pleasure in being involved with the local chapter of the Girl Guides, lending her time on several trips and adventures. Travel was a big part of Lori’s life. She enjoyed recounting many happy moments from the cross-Canada road trip she took in her youth as well as from vacations to the Caribbean with her family.

Lori was blessed with a few significant relationships during her life and was a loving partner to Bill Hazlewood, Dave Kindness, and Richard Neil. Lori had an amazing sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and a smile that could light up a room. She felt deeply, lived with her heart on her sleeve, and made everyone feel important. She will be deeply missed.
