In memory of

Lori Jane Turner

April 7, 1964 -  December 26, 2021

Lori Jane Turner (nee Lockhart) of Aurora, Ontario passed away at the age of 57 in her home in Toronto on Sunday December 26th, following a long and hard fought battle with cancer. She is survived by her sons, Geoffrey Turner, and Grant Turner, her ex-husband and friend, Peter Turner, her mother Marilyn Lockhart, her brother, Gary Lockhart, her sister Wendy Bermingham, and her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Ronald Lockhart.

Lori was first and foremost a loving mother, at all times putting the needs and wants of her two sons before her own, and always showing them what safety, kindness, and unconditional love meant. Beyond her role as a mother, she was an accomplished nurse, touching the lives of countless patients and families over her 35 year career.

Among family, friends, and colleagues, she will be remembered for her kind and caring personality, her quick, witty humour, and her propensity for speaking up for those around her, and for what she thought was right.

She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of having her in their life. In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations to the Head & Neck Site Group Fund at Princess Margaret Hospital at supportthepmcf.ca/ui/DonateNow/donations/start to help fight head and neck cancers.
