Lorenzo Migliore was the son of Giuseppa Tagliavia and Salvatore Migliore. His siblings include Giuseppe, Caterina, Valentino, and Carmela. Lorenzo was married to Belena Barbara Migliore (deceased). His children include: Lorenzo, Caterina, Kirk, Ettore, Dino, and Joe.

Lorenzo passed away on December 28th, 2016 in Mazatlan, Mexico, where he was vacationing. He had a respiratory arrest, and cardiac arrest induced by pneumonia. Although his body made some small recoveries, twenty-five days after the attack, he stopped responding to medication.

Lorenzo will be remembered for his humour, passionate nature, love of engineering and learning in general, optimism, and dedication to his family and friends. Lorenzo was a unique and admirable character, who had many successes in life, stretching from Europe to North America.

The Migliore family asks that donations, in honour of Lorenzo, be sent to "The John Madott Fine Arts Scholarship." Lorenzo was a close friend of the Madott family, and shared similar interests with them including the fine arts and writing. This scholarship helps students in the Fine Arts program at OCAD University in Toronto, Ontario.

Lorenzo touched the lives of many people, and was a very social individual. He will dearly be missed. His family and friends hope that he rests in peace, beside his loving wife, Barbara.
