In memory of

Lolita Rita Perera

January 19, 1932 -  December 22, 2021

At home while in the arms of her daughters, Lolita Rita Perera was gently embraced and guided by the Angels to reunite with her life- long soul mate; Felix.
Lolita’s precious treasures were her children; Ingrid & Russel, Suzette, her grandchildren; Craig & Lindsay, Bradley & Nazrina and her dearest gems were her great granddaughters; AzarIya and Zephaniya.
She is lovingly and greatly missed by her brother Lyall (Sylvia) Bakelmun, In-laws, nieces, nephews and many life-long friends.
Side by side Lolita and Felix navigated life to help guide their family building pillars of respect, love, patience and kindness. Their legacy of compassion and love is illustrated in their children and grandchildren and will be inherited by their generations to come.
Shopping, cooking, entertaining, singing and dancing were among Lolita’s many pleasures and passions, as well as a zeal for playing 3 Cards and slots at the casino. A win, was a win, and she would always share her good fortunes with her family.
Funeral viewing and service will be held on Wednesday December 29th starting at 1pm. In light of ongoing Covid 19 concerns and restrictions the Dezilva/Perera family respect and support any difficult decisions refraining people from participating. A live online stream is available at this site.
The family is deeply comforted by the number of phone calls, emails and texts received from around the world and greatly appreciate the display of love and respect to their Mom/ Nana and Great Grand Ma.
