It is with heartfelt sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and wife, Loke Yin Lai (Lily) Chow, on May 6, 2021, at the age of 77, with loving and devoted husband Kai at her side.
Lily was born on September 6, 1943 in Singapore. She is survived by her ever loving and devoted husband, Kai, her children, Timothy (& wife Elizabeth), Danny and Christine (& husband John), her grandchildren, Aiden, Madelaine, Isabel, Alyssa and Luke. She was the loving mother to two of her late children, Franice and Matthew. Lily was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
After marring her husband in Singapore in 1964 they moved to Canada to start a new journey together. Canada became her home but a small part of her heart was still in Singapore. She was a devote Christian and imparted only kindness and compassion to her children and grandchildren. We carry this forward. She was always concerned for welfare of others.
Lily will be sadly missed and will be reunited with her two children, Franice and Matthew. Her kindness, compassion and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren and friends will never be forgotten. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives.
