Lois Doreen Young passed away in North York Ontario at the age of 81. One month shy of her 82nd birthday, after an extensive fight with Breast Cancer. She was a loving mother of 2 girls and 2 boys, although the boys were not in her life, she loved her children unconditionally. Her love for family was strong, deep-rooted, and unwavering.

Lois walked through the golden gates of heaven joining her father, mother, brother, sister, and son. She is survived by her two daughters, her son, and many family members including grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Lois was proud of her many accomplishments throughout her life. The greatest accomplishment she was very proud of was a Crossing Guard for the Toronto Police Department at Centre 55. Which she proudly served for 20 years. Everyone who knew her thought of her as a sweet soul. Always willing to help anyone in need. If she wasn’t helping people, she felt lost. Her family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to one of the many foundations which she too contributed to or cared for the cause.
