It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Lloyd Sass, in hospital, on the morning of January 6, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa, brother Janos, brother Geza, and daughter Andrea. He is survived by his sister Margit (Laci), daughter Anna (Carl), son Lloyd Joseph (Cassandra), and grandsons Philip, Thomas and Shane.

Lloyd was born in Hungary and immigrated with his wife to Canada in 1957. After a few years in Ottawa, his growing family moved to Scarborough and finally to Pickering in 1967. He was a tool and die-maker at General Motors in Oshawa for many years.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
