Lloyd Nethland Phillips “LP”
Devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather

Lloyd Nethland Phillips, 81, died on September 8th 2025 surrounded by his family.

Lloyd was born on April 12th, 1944 in the Parish of St. Mary in Jamaica to
Leonard Phillips and Regina Brown.

In St. Mary, Lloyd attended Devon Pen All Age School. He was known for having an affinity for numbers: He could remember any number sequence you gave him.
After graduating from school, he moved to Kingston where he became a bus driver of The Field Marshall bus lines, while learning the automotive trade.

Lloyd perfected his skills in the automotive field and started his own auto business in Kingston. He migrated to Canada and the USA where he continued in the industry and business ownerships. He was always eager to teach others about automobiles and always wanted them to learn from the most basic level first so the could appreciate it more.

Lloyd is survived by his seven children, Everton, Donna, Marie, Donnette, Raymond, Patricia and Travest, Grandchildren, great grandchildren ,extended family and friends.

LP especially will be remembered for his love of family and for his giving spirit.

Lloyd was one of the most loving and positive people I've ever known. His kindness, calm spirit and generosity knew no bounds. Sincere condolences to the family he loved and may you be comforted by his memory and the assurance that he has now gone to rest in the arms of His Saviour.
