Lisbon Sanford Dennie

Lisbon Sanford Dennie of Toronto (formally of Troumaca, St. Vincent and the Grenadines) was born on January 14th, 1933. He was the son of the late Hugh Dennie, and Louise Dennie (formally Adams). He was the eldest of his seven siblings: Wilma Dennie, Jane Dennie, Mrs. Cordelia Ash, Agnes Dennie, Winston Dennie, and the late Mrs. Etta Ramnath.
Lisbon attended the Troumaca Government School as a young boy. After leaving school, he went to work with his father as a stone blaster around the island. After, he moved on to something new. He started traveling to Barbados and St. Lucia for many years selling merchandise. On July 5th, 1968 Lisbon migrated to Canada to begin a better life. He did various amounts of work at many places but his permanent place of employment was with the Toronto Housing for 24 years until his retirement. Lisbon loved to travel as it was his hobby. On one of his various trips to St. Vincent and the Grenadines it was there he met his beautiful wife, Ephena Porter. They married on September 29th, 1984. Throughout their marriage they had three daughters: Lauren, Lydia, and Leah. Lisbon loved the Lord, and was a devoted member of The Davenport Gospel Hall.
On June 28th, 2021 at 11:05pm, Lisbon was called home to be with the Lord. He was survived by his wife and three daughters, future son in law, nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed.
