In memory of
Lisa Elaine Hall (nee Sullivan)
March 29, 1960 -
July 9, 2023
Lisa Hall (nee Sullivan) passed away on Sunday, July 9th, 2023, at the age of 63 years, following a complication from her brief but courageous battle with cancer. Her family was by her side.
Lisa will be lovingly remembered by Andrew, her husband of 41 years, as well as her children, Stephanie (Adam) and Johnathon (Hal-lee), her sisters Janice (Brian) and Wendy (Ricky), her nieces Lindsay (Jason), Alyssa, and Darlene (Chris), her nephew Joshua, great-nephew Dallas, and great-niece Nevaeh. She was a loving Fur-mom to Rory, and Fur-Grammy to Trooper, Remington, Gourd, and Charlie.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Harold Sullivan and Gwen (Joyce) Sullivan (nee Fadden) and in-laws John Hall and Alice Hall (nee Barthe).
Lisa was an avid sports fan, having played both hockey (as a goaltender) and baseball (as a catcher and 1st baseman) for many years. She bled blue for her Toronto teams, both the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. She loved art and enjoyed painting scenic landscapes and drawing different characters.
Lisa worked in insurance for over 45 years. Starting at the age of 18 with Wawanesa Insurance, she later joined Allstate Insurance. She became an insurance broker in 1999. Lisa met and worked with many amazing people over the years.
Lisa spent many of her 63 years at the cottage in Bolsover. She enjoyed her time at the lake, where you could often find her fishing, boating, skiing, and swimming. This was where she met Andrew, the love of her life and husband of 41 years. Lisa made many happy memories at the cottage, including family game nights and drinks around the bonfire. Lisa introduced her kids to all the things she loved about the cottage, which quickly became the things that they love, too. This was her little piece of paradise, on Paradise Beach.
Visitation will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery and Funeral Centre on July 20th, 2023, from 2 PM- 4 PM and 6 PM-8 PM.
