In memory of

Linford Wilburn Williams

October 26, 1934 -  June 26, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Linford Wilburn Williams. Linford died peacefully on Saturday June 26th, 2021 at the Scarborough General Hospital in Toronto from kidney failure. He was 86 years old.

Linford was a husband of 52 years to his late wife Jean, (predeceased 2018). He is survived by his children, (Lee, Audrey, Kathleen, Alice and Len); grandchildren, (Leigha, Quin, Arielle, André, Nathan, Nolan), great-grandchildren, (Denae and Ethan) and extended family and friends.

Linford will be remembered for his wit and for his work ethic. He emigrated to Canada in 1959 from Jamaica and fell in love with everything Canadian, with one exception - winter snowstorms.

Linford is resting at the Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, located at 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough M1K 1R1.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at 1 p.m., followed immediately by the funeral service and interment starting at 2pm.

Due to Covid-19 protocols, which limits attendance, the service will be live streamed, on Tuesday, July 6 at 2 p.m. The live stream link will be active approximately 10 minutes prior to the start of the service.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made in his name to St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 904 Coxwell Avenue, Toronto, M4C 3G3.
