Linda Thompson (Richard)

May 6, 1959 -  February 18, 2017

Linda passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 18, 2017. She will be sadly missed by Wray Thompson, her mother Joan Richard and father Leo Richard (predeceased), her sister Valerie Gough (Randy), nephew Alex Gough (Ning) and many friends / relatives. Linda had a passion to X-stitch, to travel to places usually on the ocean (Hilton Head / Fiji), touring twisted roads in her Miata convertible (Tail of the Dragon) and for her love of animals / dogs. Thank you to all of her X-stitch friends who helped her through some difficult times. A Celebration of Life will be held at: Thornton Cemetery and Crematorium, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa ON, on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Visitation 10 am to 11 am, Service at 11 am, reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish or to a charity of your choice. Linda's happiness and infectious laugh touched many of us far and wide. She will be missed greatly. We had many plans for the adventures that lay ahead for us.
