It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Holly Paulsen on December 1, 2023, at Sunnybrook Hospital at the age of 74 years. Linda was born on December, 17, 1948 in Toronto, Ontario to predeceased parents Dorothy and William Pearce. Cherished mother of Robert Andrews (Eva), Joseph Andrews (Carey), and Candice Paulsen (Patrick). She is predeceased by her sisters Lila (Mike) and Jerrilyn (John). She is survived by siblings Thomas, Dorothy (Brian), Deborah (Steve), Timothy, Wendy (Fred) and Terrance (Sheila). She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Paul Paulsen and his family, Laurie (Walter), Pam, Tim (Donna), Gail (Richard) and Margaret. As well as granddaughters Chantale (Philip), Tabatha (Cody), and grandsons Janek (Jade), Chad (Renee), Jordan (Ashleigh), Maximus and Maverick, and great-grandchildren Adelynn, Holden, Everett, Emersyn, Everleigh, Ivy, Aubrey, Joshua, and Jack, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Linda was a do-er. If you wanted something done everyone knew she would help take care of it! She volunteered at her childrens’ schools (even when her daughter was the classroom teacher and no longer the student), helped usher new family member’s into the world, organized and decorated many special events for all, and was everyone’s biggest cheerleader. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who would do anything at the drop of a hat for those she cared for, day or night. She would keep herself busy crafting, painting, dancing, checking out the latest fashion, and spending time with her sweet havanese dog, Tyson.

Linda was a vivacious woman who will fondly be remembered most for her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and bright and optimistic outlook on life. The world is a little darker without her. May she keep dancing in the stars until we meet again.
