In memory of

Linda Harewood

October 21, 1942 -  November 23, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Harewood, who left us on November 23, 2024, at the age of 82. Linda was born in Usine, St. Madeleine, Trinidad and Tobago, to Arthur Augustus and Rebecca Harewood, (nee, Yearwood). She had a wonderful childhood and pursued an active church life at the San Fernando, Wesleyan Holiness Church in Trinidad. She also engaged in various areas of employment in her homeland. Linda migrated to Canada in 1982 and was an original and beloved employee at the Salvation Army Store at Dixie and Dundas until 2020.
Linda was a gentle, quiet spirit, and a sincere Christian who loved going to the Oakwood Wesleyan Church in Toronto. Sightings of Linda were often reported at Square One, South Common Mall, and Shoppers' World. We will miss her calm, friendly spirit and her warm presence at the Taylor/Forrester and the Ismael families and at church gatherings.
Predeceased by her parents and older sister Pearl Harewood. She will lovingly be remembered by her sisters. Marva Harewood (Massachusetts) and Janet Roach (USVI): her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, in Massachusetts; and friends, children and youth in Canada and Trinidad who were touched and embraced by her love.
Donation can be made to Trillium Health Partners Foundation, Cancer Care.

The first time I saw her I thought she was Celine Tyson the actor from the USA . Then I was told no,but I still believe she was related to her. She was sweet and warm and very pleasant. I know she will be missed 😢
