In memory of

Lillian Yvonne Hodowansky

September 18, 1939 -  October 31, 2019

Our beloved mother, Lily Hodowansky, passed away quietly peacefully and surrounded by love at 10:00pm on ALL Hallows Eve or All Saints Eve. A most fitting time for our mother as Halloween was her most favorite time of year. Lily, known to most as Baba, touched many lives and it is our hope that those who can will join us in celebrating her wonderful story.Friends and family will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Thursday, November 7, for visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and on Friday November 8, from 10-11am with service to follow at 11am.

Dear Lacia, Gregory and Families:
My sister, Vera, and I are very sorry to learn of Lillian's passing. I have so many great memories of when we were young. I was a farm girl invited by Lillian to visit her for awhile in the big city of Toronto (Clair Ave.). We went to concerts (The Four Lads), the CNE, etc. etc. They were fun times. My sisters and I helped serving tables when her and Leo were married. There were numerous times we were together (at funerals, etc.) I have been dabbling in ancestry and found that we share great grandmothers (ex. David, Connie and Peter are my 4th cousins), so Lillian and Ronald would be the same. Their maiden names happen to be Luj. I hope I am not boring you but I wanted you both to know who we are.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the Lord bless each and every one of you at this difficult time. Love Cousin Helen
