Lilita Valuks

April 25, 1933 -  August 18, 2018

Lilita Valuks (nee Jencs) passed away peacefully on Saturday August 18th, 2018 after having suffered with pain and discomfort for many years. Beloved wife of Julius Zigurds Valuks. Lilita is the daughter of the late Fridrihs and Olga Jencs, who lived in Latvia. Lilita's father, captain Fridrihs Jencs was an officer of the Latvian army in 1944 and was deported to Siberia.
Lilita was employed by the Provincial Government for many years and worked for various ministries.
Together Julius and Lilita built a cottage in their spare time, where they spent their holidays and weekends. They also supported the Toronto Symphony of Orchestra and Hummingbird Centre by having seasons tickets for many years.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Andrew’s Latvian Lutheran Church or Latvian Relief Society, Daugavas Vanagi.
