Letianna Russell passed away peacefully at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and incredible meals. Above all things, “Ms. Pearl” absolutely loved to cook. Her kitchen was the heartbeat of her home, and she used her culinary talents to bring people together, expressing her deep love for family and friends through every dish she made.
She truly loved people, and her infectious sense of humor ensured that her dinner table was always filled with joy and laughter. When she wasn't cooking, Letianna filled the room with music, playing the harmonica beautifully for anyone lucky enough to listen. She also loved her daytime soap operas, and kept in touch with friends and family in Jamaica during her later days, through daily phone calls.
She is survived by her two devoted children, Jacqueline and Gladstone, and her cherished grandchildren, Jaysen, Joel, Janelle, Indie and Shalome. Her great grand kids, Jordaine, Skylar, and Shyloh were also very near and dear to her. She also leaves behind her caring son-in-law Noel, and her close nieces Norma, Delores and Stacy, who she had a close personal bond with. Her Sister Dorothy, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives will also miss her dearly and keep her memory alive for years to come. She also loved her community and church friends. all of whom carry forward her bright spirit and fond memories of her soap operas.
