In loving memory of our beloved father, brother and uncle, Lester Damon Peter, born June 24, 1962, who passed away peacefully May 22, 2026. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, immigrating to Ontario, Canada - he spent most of his life as a Controls Engineer and owner of D2K Automation Technology. Above all he is remembered for his dedication to his family, willingness to help others, sense of humour and love of fishing and chess.

He was predeceased by his mother Mary Peter (nee Porter) and father Michael Peter. He is survived by his daughter Athena Peter-Winston, brother Keith Peter, sisters Drusilla Peter, Beverley Manuel and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held for him on Tuesday June 02, 2026, at Thornton Funeral Centres in Oshawa. In lieu of flower please consider a donation in his name to, Lakeridge Health Foundation, a cause close to his heart.
