In memory of

Leslie Marie Lisanti

June 10, 1952 -  April 26, 2024

Leslie Marie Lisanti (Allen), a devoted mother, passionate sports fan, and life enthusiast, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2024. Born to the late Gerald Allen and late Mary Laing (Ash), Leslie brought boundless joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Leslie's love for sports was unparalleled, with an unwavering devotion to her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Toronto Blue Jays. Her enthusiastic cheers and unwavering support for her teams were infectious, creating unforgettable memories for those fortunate enough to share in her passion.

Beyond sports, Leslie had an unmatched zest for life, finding joy in every celebration and gathering. Her love for holidays, especially when spent with family and friends, was evident in her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter. Whether it was a summer barbecue or a festive holiday party, Leslie's presence lit up the room, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Leslie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Lisanti. She is survived by her loving children, Paul (Jr) (Mélissa) and Sarah, who will forever cherish her memory. Leslie was a devoted grandmother to Luca and Julien, whose lives were enriched by her boundless love and affection.

She is also survived by her brother Gerry Allen (Malle), along with nephews Matti and Tyler, who held a special place in her heart. Leslie leaves behind a large extended family and a host of dear friends, each touched by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

Leslie's legacy of love, laughter, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding light, inspiring us to live life to the fullest and cherish every moment with those we hold dear.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Canadian Cancer Society in Leslie's honour. Or you can support her daughter Sarah in her Walk to Conquer Cancer. (Please see under Donation Tab in top right of page for direct links to donation pages).

A celebration of life for Leslie will be held on May 7th at 11am at Pine Hills Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to honour her memory and share stories of the beautiful life she lived. Leslie's spirit will continue to shine brightly, forever remembered and deeply missed.
