It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leonarda Alcamo on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family.

Affectionately known as Nardina, she was the devoted wife of the late Ignazio Alcamo (2013). She leaves behind a legacy of love and was deeply treasured by her children; sons Tony and his spouse Vera, Enzo and his spouse Vittoria, John and his spouse Maria and daughters Caterina and her spouse Denis and Vita and her spouse Ola. Her presence will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren; Lauren, Luca, Brenden, Hailey and Gaja. Leonarda was predeceased by her siblings; Diego, Antonietta, Nicola and Giuseppe.

Nardina's life was a testament to her kindness, gentleness and unwavering loyal love. She will be fondly remembered for her hospitality, her tireless self-sacrificing spirit and her boundless love for her family. Her strong faith in Jehovah God defined her character and she found beauty in all his creative works. Her garden was a reflection of that love and her nurturing spirit.

The entire family deeply appreciates and are touched by the incredible support they have received. Nothing will fill the void that has been left in their hearts as we all await the day that Jehovah will call her to the resurrection of life.
