Leon Ilovski was a caring son, brother, uncle, cousin, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Our family is saddened to announce that Leon Ilovski left us on June 1st , 2021 at the age of 84. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 63 years Grozdana Ilovski, daughter Vesna Kosteski (Save’ Kosteski), son Nick Ilovski ( Biljana lovski) , his 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Leon was predeceased by his parents Spasa and Nikola Ilovski and sister Marica (Ziva) and niece Zorica and nephew Kosta.

Leon immigrated to Canada to build a better life for his family and he was very proud of his life's accomplishments. Leon was such a kind and loving person. He loved the water and swimming, music, good food, company and of course a good laugh. He was a rock of stability and a source of strength for our family. He had a magical way of bringing joy and happiness into every room he walked into. He was the best at bbqing, fixing things, babysitting, playing games, giving advice, and so much more. He was truly one of a kind!

He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, love of nature and people and his ability to make everyone laugh, and of course his kind heart. 

A memorial service will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre in Pickering (1057 Brock Road) on Sunday June 5th at 2:00pm.
