In memory of

Lenora Bell

September 17, 1924 -  June 15, 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of of our beautiful mother in Toronto at the age of 98.

Cherished mother of Colleen (Jeff), Debbie, Sheila, Sharon and Bobby (Sandy); grandmother to Robert (Samantha), Alex (Isaac) and Alexandra; great grandmother to Addison, loving sister and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Lenora was born in Isle aux Morts, Newfoundland on September 17, 1924 to parents Francis and William Organ. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Alex to whom she was married for 58 years, her stepfather Philip Seymour, her siblings, Levina, Mary, George and Tom and son-in-law Robert Harbin.

Our incredible Mom was such an amazing lady with a huge heart, great personality and brilliant smile. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

We are honouring our mother's wishes by having a private celebration of her life with her family.

We will remember our wonderful mom for her unconditional love, strength, kindness, incredible voice and for being so special and unique. We loved her then, we love her now and we will love her, always. She will live in our hearts forever.

Please look at our mom's photos as she loved them so much and she had many of them on her walls in Chateauguay and in Toronto.

Dear Sheila, Colleen and family.....How sorry I was to read about your lovely, incredible mom passing away. What an amazing woman she was. I always loved saying hello to her when Sheila or Colleen were out walking with her in the hood and when I worked at Mastermind as well. Was so nice to run into her. I am deeply sorry for your loss and was so sorry to read about this terrific, energetic woman passing away. You are all in my thoughts. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.xoxoxoxo

Lenora was a a very special person. I was 16 when I met her and was lucky enough to become her neighbour when I was 31. She and Alex were so warm and welcoming and so very sweet with my 2 kids. It was bittersweet when they moved to Toronto as I knew they wanted to be close to their very special girls, but I also knew how much I would miss them. Our phone calls were special to me as Lenora always told me how much she loved me. What a great lady! I know she is back in Alex’s protective and loving embrace and that is how I choose to remember her. Love and hugs Lenora.
