In memory of

Lena Tsalis

May 7, 1939 -  January 12, 2025

It is with deepest sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Lena Tsalis. Most cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She departed us on January 12, 2025. She leaves behind her devoted husband Dani, her beloved children Sophie (Charlie), Nick (Angie), Penny (Rui) along with her adored grandchildren Carmen (Kristina), Marcus (Victoria), Dani (Kaitlin), Nicholas (Georgia), Costa, Matthew, Amy (Steven). She also leaves behind her beautiful great granddaughters, Aria and Isla. Lena’s passing will be deeply felt by all her family and friends.
Lena was born in the village of Besfania on May 7, 1939. She had 3 sisters (Lefta, Kotsa and Cena) and survived by 2 living brothers (Lazo & Spiro). At the age of 25 Lena decided to embark on a life changing decision to seek a new life in Canada. It was here where she met her husband Dani and built a beautiful life together.
We find comfort in the treasured memories she has given us during this time of grief. We shall always be inspired by her devotion and love for her friends and family. She will always have a special place in our hearts, and we love and miss her terribly.
While Lena had a deep love for flowers, donations to the heart and stroke foundation are deeply appreciated. The entire family is grateful for all your prayers and word of support during this most difficult time .

My family and I are enormously saddened by the sudden loss of dear Lena. She was a remarkable and spirited lady who demonstrated great love and dedication to the Macedonian community. She and Dani attended almost every function and event and were always seen on the dance floor. Her legacy and example will live on with us forever and we will miss her tremendously. We extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to her family during this difficult time.
