In memory of

Lawrence Allan Greenland

November 5, 1948 -  March 25, 2017

GREENLAND, Lawrence(Larry) Allan, 68, of Whitby, Ontario passed away on March 25th, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Larry ran a local dentistry practice and was very involved in the community through the Whitby Sunrise Rotary Club and the Whitby Sports Hall of Fame.

His gentle soul and witty humour will be sorely missed by his wife, Leslie (nee Lower), his five children: Erin (Geoff), Graham (Liz), Brad (Autumn), Jeff (Lindsay), Rob (Beverley), and his 8 grandchildren: Jordan, Nathan, Noelle, Lacey, Alayna, Liliana, Grayson, and Ruby.

To those that knew him, Larry was a geniune and generous man. He was a loving spouse, caring father, doting grandfather and genuine friend who leaves behind a legacy of memories in the lives of those who were blessed enough to have known him.

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, there will not be a service. Donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation with funds allocated to “Invest in Research – Head and Neck Cancer Research Fund”.

Dearest Leslie and your wonderful family. We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Larrys passing. Larry was such a wonderful boss to me, but over the years became a valued friend. He was a kind, generous man who loved his family beyond measure, speaking of you all daily, especially the grand-kiddies. His loss will be felt by all- family , friends, and community. Our sincerest condolences to all of you. Xo Pat ,Mike, and all of our family .
