In memory of

Laurna Violet Allman

September 28, 2021

"Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.” (Psalm 116:15)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Laurna Allman (nee Brewster), the loving wife of the late Hugh Allman. She departed peacefully at home on September 28, 2021, at the age of 83.

She will be greatly missed by her family (siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members), her friends and her family in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Laurna faithfully attended the Davenport Gospel Hall assembly in Toronto, Canada. She loved the Lord and was known to be a caring and hospitable person to everyone she came in contact with and she was willing to serve them in the days of her strength.

A seamstress, caregiver and bookkeeper by training, this child of God, will indeed be remembered as a virtuous, loving, caring and hardworking woman that has graced our presence before moving on to meet her Saviour.

Please pray for Laurna's family and friends.

The funeral service will be livestreamed and the link can be copy and pasted into your browser.

Your years on earth have ended
And you're time in Heaven begun.
So for those you have befriended,
And to those whose hearts you've won,
You are now with Christ, your Saviour,
You have heard Him say, "Well Done."
