In memory of

Laurina Cain

December 21, 1932 -  September 17, 2019

Laurina Cain passed away peacefully on September 17th. She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, Bob. She was the loving and devoted mother of Paul (Linda) Cain and Denise (James) Walsh. She was the proud meme of Connor, Emilie, Robert and Angela. She adored her grand-children and was always eager to hear their stories and share their many achievements.

Laurina has a strong love and connection to her brothers, Adrien, Cyril, and Gerry. Her love for her best friend and sister Bernadette is legendary. The Arsenault sisters shared a bond that was a pleasure to witness.

She valued her Catholic faith throughout her life. She believed all lives were precious gifts and lived her life with strength, integrity and grace. We will all miss her but we are all thankful for the positive impact she had on everyone she loved

Dear Paul, Linda, Denise, James, Fred, Bernadette and the children:

It was with great sadness that we heard the news down East of Laurina's passing. She was truly a gem and a wonderful woman. We will always remember her kind spirit, sense of humor, strength of character and sharp wit. When Rick and I resided in Toronto, we thought of Laurina as our second mom .She will be truly missed by all that knew her. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow and offer you our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss.

With love, Gisele, Rick and Isabelle XOX

You gave life to a little boy, and then one day he became my husband, then he became a wonderful father to Angela. For this I will always be grateful. Miss you

It was very sad to hear of my aunt Laurina's passing but she really left us all with many many great memories. Her visits here with us on the east coast were always filled with fun and lots of laughter, Laurina and Bernadette's visits with us will be something that I'll never forget.

I'm sure that my uncle Bob is glad to have her back, they were a wonderful couple.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of the family, Paul and Linda, Denise and James, aunt Bernadette and uncle Fred, our hearts go out to you in this very sad time.

Charles, Cynthia and Christian

Our family would like to extend our sincere sympathy to Denise & James, Paul & Linda and their family .
Having known Laurina for over fifty years I treasure the memories we have shared . Many trips to Moncton, NB and Egmond Bay, PEI have helped me to understand the Acadien culture . Music has always been very special too , listening to all the folk songs by the camp fire .
Bernadette has been always very close to Laurina . It's hard to believe how close they have been all their lives . We will miss her dearly .
