HEROUX, Laurier “Larry”

Passed away peacefully, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on March 8, 2019, at the age of 82. Larry leaves behind his loving wife of 60 plus years, Nancy. Loving father of Barb, Rob (Mary-Anne), Larry ”Butch” and Bryan (Renee). Adored Grampa of Karly, Jacob, Gary, Cheryl, Jessica, Amanda and Alex (Sara). Larry will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will be forever remembered for his great love of his family and his generosity. His passion for maintaining his cars (and any that were in the driveway!) will resonate forever with the family. Larry found great pleasure in teaching his sons hockey, skiing and cottage life. He will be truly missed by all who knew this kind man. Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787). In Larry’s memory donations will be gratefully accepted for R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
