Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital in her 82nd year. Past Matron of West Hill Chapter O.E.S. #301. Member of Lily of the Valley Chapter (Orillia) O.E.S.#141. Honoured Lady of Lily of the Valley Court #12. Order of the Amaranth, Inc., Member of True Kindred Canada Conclave #7. Member of Harmony Hall and Fatima Seniors Euchre Clubs. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Howard Langley. Loving mother of Paul (William), Susan (Misael) and Mary-Ann (Mike). Loving grandmother to Kassandra and Mateo. Dear sister to Beverley Otto of Kitchener. Dear sister-in-law to Connie, Linda, Carl and Rena Langley of Orilla. Will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Family and friends will be received at Pine Hills Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m . In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society and Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated by the family.

Although we didn't know Sylvia well, we knew her to be a friendly, caring and wonderful lady. She was extremely talented and creative and was able to turn anything into a work of art. Always happy and inviting she will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Norm & Diane Taylor 🌹🌹
